100_2397100_2399The Armory’s hall (drill hall) can be rented for conferences, meetings, receptions, parties, shows, and events that respect the historic nature of the building.  The hall is 6,000 square feet (60′ x100′) and has a stage  (approximately 24′ x 8′), a very large motorized screen, audio system with cordless or corded) microphone or cordless head mikes, a hardwood floor, and high ceilings as well as brand new HVAC (heat and air conditioning). There are ceiling fans and some special lighting.

The hall has a capacity of 300 when set with tables and chairs.  There are 24 round tables and over a dozen oblong tables.  The Armory boasts a state-certified catering kitchen with stainless-steel appliances (gas stove, ovens, convection ovens, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher).  Pictures below and further down:

Reservation Fee
A $100 reservation fee is required at the time of application and will be credited towards the rental price. A refund may be given only if cancelation of event is announced to the Armory’s manager 30 or more days prior to the event. To reserve a date(s), a contract must be signed and reservation fee paid.

Rental Fees
Please note that the museum/office and any other rooms in the Armory are NOT included in your rental for storage, dressing, rehearsal, and the like. Rentals are for use of the drill hall. Discounts are given for contiguous multiple-day events.

***For private receptions (ex. weddings) and business groups:
Rental is $300 per hour with a 4-hour minimum charge. This charge includes use of tables (22 round, 10 rectangular) and chairs (300 with padded seats and backs), sound system (2 speakers, cordless mikes, soundboard), podium, & non-cooking use of kitchen. If cooking or heating is required, there is a $50 per hour fee for kitchen use. If renter exceeds the number of hours in the contract, there is a $400 per hour charge. A $500 damage deposit is required at least 14 days prior to the event. Set-up and take-down fees are $50 per hour; however, if set-up is done on days when the Armory is normally open, the fee is $35 per hour. It is the responsibility of the renter(s) to take down, clean up and leave the Armory in good condition.

***For community non-profit groups charging for their event:
Rental is $125 per hour with a 4-hour minimum charge. This fee includes use of 8 tables (round or rectangular) and 60 chairs, podium, as well as non-cooking use of the kitchen. If cooking or heating is required, there is a $50 per hour fee for kitchen use. Cost for exceeding hours beyond the rental contract is $150 per hour. A $500 damage deposit is required at least 14 days prior to the event. Set-up and take-down fees are $50 per hour; however, if set-up is done on days when the Armory is normally open, the fee is $35 per hour. It is the responsibility of the renter(s) to take down, clean up and leave the Armory in good condition.

***For community non-profit groups not charging for their event:

Note (for all types of groups):
Additional tables can be rented for $4 each; a rack of chairs (approximately 40) for $25.
Rental of white chair covers ($1.25 each); linen tablecloths ($7 each); chair bows ($1 each).
Rental of sound system (2 speakers, cordless mikes, soundboard) is $150.
Clean-up can be done for the group for an additional $300.
Rugs, pedestals, and other items are rented at the discretion of the Operations Manager.

Police officers and/or firefighters may be required; if so, their fee is additional to above.
