Westerly Armory Memberships
Membership is one leg of support to keep the Westerly Armory open and alive. By becoming a member, you receive a tax-deduction and the Armory newsletter — and you are invited to the popular Member Appreciation Evening held every year. Membership runs from Memorial Day to Memorial Day but you can join at any time during the year. The Armory’s mailing address is: PO Box 614, Westerly, RI 02891. Why join?
Your membership keeps the Armory open for:
- The Westerly Band, America’s oldest active civic band. Their home is at the Armory as is their music library some of which predates the Civil War.
- The Armory's museum which displays both community memorabilia and local military artifacts and mementos.
- The Armory’s Library carries three areas of books: Rhode Island, local area, and military.
- Local organizations who can rent the Armory’s drill hall for their fundraising and special events; the Armory is the largest space of its kind in the area.
